This project uses a system based on three groups of elements, charged with a visual appearance to define or enhance functions: lowered ceiling, accent wall and screen unify the given fractured space. When combined with the other elements a new dialogue is formed.

A clear distinction between corporate showcase and customer service was made. The general layout is determined by BMW's architectural standards, the first floor is for exhibition and above lies the customer VIP area. Providing a combination of large open areas and smaller enclosed private spaces, a specific material and colour palette is pre-assigned.
The main challenge is the creation of a "new" design within the predefined visual identity of BMW with the prime objective to make a welcoming and exciting space for customers with a strong focus on enhancing BMW's visual identity.
Each group of elements can be adjusted in shape, pattern or colour for a unique application. Lowered ceilings, with four types of lighting, add to a warmer and more inviting environment. Accent walls of patterned Perspex, act as a backdrop to divide areas. Screens of square aluminium extrusions, separates spaces while maintaining strong visual connection.
